Goodbye 2010! Hello 2011!
Goal for the new year – finishing more quilts than I start. After cleaning and sorting in the sewing room this last week I have discovered that there are more than 25 quilts in various boxes already started. A couple are tops that are finished but need quilting. One is quilted and only needs binding. Most are pieces in a shoe box that have been cut with some sewing done.
Usually I do a mystery quilt on New Year’s day. This year I am planning on completing a quilt that I only cut out earlier this week, before I sorted through things and found just how much work in progress that there was waiting for me. Still, it is cut and laid in rows on the sewing room floor and just waiting to be sewn.
